The heart of the site is taking Actions to make the world better. You browse around the site looking for Actions on things you care about. When you find one you click the "Take action!", and it will send you to the websites the Actions is from.
You can start finding and taking Actions by browsing the Action Home right now.
What is an Action?
An Action can be sending an email, signing a petition, writing a submission, adding your voice on social media, or any other thing people can think of to help the world.
Organisations wanting to help animals around the world often recommend various Actions for people to take from their website. The organisations might want to encourage people to contact a minister or politician, to get in touch with a brand or corporation, or to use their voice to influence society in some other way. Whatever form the Action takes, they will be asking you to take positive Action to help animals or the environment.
Action for Animals helps you find and take Actions, collating them in one place from multiple other websites. This makes it easier to find great Actions to take, without a lot of web searching, wherever you are.
Have a browse of the Actions on the site, take them straight away and mark them as done. By registering you keep a history of your Actions, add them to the To-do lists on your Action Home, or even add your new Actions that you create or find.
What is an Action List?
Actions Lists group some Actions to take together and present them in an easy way to complete. An Action List might be "Actions for this month", or "Actions around a topic", or anything else that makes sense.
You can add Action Lists to your To-do list at the top of your Action Home, or you can complete them straight away.
Why Register?
