Protect forests, not polluters

The Albanese and Minns Governments have created a dangerous new carbon credit scheme that lets Australia’s biggest polluters keep polluting by turning public native forests into carbon offsets.

Rather than requiring Australia’s biggest polluters to reduce their emissions, the scheme enables them to purchase carbon credits generated from public forests while continuing to pollute.
