Tell the Government to Strengthen Queensland’s New Bioregional Guidance Plans
The Queensland Conservation Council is calling on the Queensland Government to strengthen its draft Bioregional Guidance Plans for the Gulf Plains and Brigalow Belt North. These plans will help shape how major developments (including mining, renewable energy projects and infrastructure) are assessed across some of Queensland’s most environmentally significant landscapes.
Queenslanders have an opportunity to have their say before consultation closes. Every submission sends a message that regional planning should genuinely protect nature; it is not about just creating the appearance of stronger environmental safeguards.
Let’s add our voices to support stronger protections for Queensland’s unique landscapes and biodiversity.
